Sue Johnson, Ed.D, is one of the world's leading lecturers, theorists, researchers, and clinicians in the field of couple therapy.  Widely published, her best-known book is The Practice of Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy: Creating Connection. In 2000, she was awarded AAMFT's Outstanding Contribution to the Field of Marriage & Family Therapy Award. In 2005 she was awarded AFTA's Outstanding Contribution to Family Research Award. Dr. Johnson is Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at Ottawa University and Director of the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy in Ottawa. Until recently she was also the Director of the Couple and Family Clinic at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Dr. Johnson is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, the Journal of Couple and Relationship Therapy, and the Journal of Family Psychology.  For more about Sue go to: www.eft.ca; ocfi@magma.ca
